Meet the Head Coach

Keila Donell is US Kids Golf Certified and has coached several junior golfers. Keila started her golf journey at the young age of 5. She has ranked as the lead player for each of the following golf teams during her season at the following schools:

☆ Citrus College (2024)

☆ Van Nuys High School (2015)

☆ Verdugo Hills High School (2013)

Keila is known for her patient coaching approach with junior golfers. Many of the junior golfers she has worked with have went on to play golf for colleges and universities.

Keila enjoys teaching golfers to practice wellness, positive affirmations, and etiquette.

Equipment

We send our verified instructors to the school with mats, additional clubs, balls, tees, etc.

When and Where

We offer our program on Wednesdays on campus on Evergreen Elementary Schools athletic field.

Our on campus Golf Clinics are non-refundable once purchased. However: If you withdraw from the program before attending any lessons, you may be eligible to transfer of unused credits to another participant.

Unused credits expire at the end of the program semester and cannot be carried over to subsequent semesters.

Missed Lessons Planned Absences: Participants who provide prior notice may review a summary of the missed material on our Google Classroom to practice independently.

Force Majeure

Outdoor activities are prohibited by the Walnut Valley Unified School District on days with poor air quality and rainy weather conditions. You will receive a cancellation notice via email.

Golf Introduction and Development Program

Group lessons will take place on campus for 8 weeks. Students will learn the fundamentals of golf as well as practice etiquette, develop sportsmanship and goal-setting.

Students will engage in an interactive way while learning golf in a fun gaining an understanding of the following:

Team Building
Putting
Chipping, and more.

Students are positively reinforced for their efforts. Ivy Golf School On-Campus Clinics are intended to be a fun introductory program to the principles and fundamentals of golf. We motivate youth to enjoy their golf journey.

When and Where

Students are directed to meet on campus at the designated area on Thursday's at the athletic field.

Ivy Golf School clinics are held for approximately 50 minutes until 3:45 pm.

Does my child bring golf clubs?

Students do not need their own clubs. They are required to use our equipment during practice on campus.

Pick-Up / Check - Out

Students must be excused by a coach when they are dismissed.

Parent or Guardian must be present on the Athletic Field at the time of Check-Out by 3:45 pm.

Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when they are dismissed. Students are not allowed to leave with their peers or leave alone. Students are not allowed to walk up to a car. They must be picked up on campus.

Life Long Learning

Golf is a sport that provides life long learning that can be applied outside of the sport. We teach fundamentals of self-discipline, focus, patience and more,

Golf can be great for opportunities in school, business, and networking.

Youth Sports Enrichment

Ivy Golf School introduces students to the opportunity of playing golf after school. Our 8 and 13 week golf clinics are designed for kids to have fun golfing right after school.

Can my child have an adult companion?

Students with additional support needs must be accompanied by an approved aide, parent or guardian. Required 14 day advanced notice for companion approval by the school district for our on-campus junior golf clinics.

Would Ivy Golf School be covered by my child’s IEP supplementary aids and services for extracurricular activities and after-school programs?
